Thanks Susan. It was so wonderful to meet approximately 3,000 people from so many places in the
world. Michael is helping me do more "live" poetry
and post them on the web with music in the background.
It is so exciting. Believe me I was so surprised when they called my name to go up on the stage. This was my
first time attending the convention. I understand it is the 20th year celebration. Look forward to meeting you again in the future. Ronald Lee Webb

Ron is an awesome poet!!! I met him at the International Society of Poets convention. From one poet to another, I was so proud of him when he went on to place in the top ten. He did extremely well and should keep his head high!! Out of the entire international community, less than 3,000 poets were invited to compete. Competing in itself, means that you're off the chain!!!!! Placing in the top ten means, your walkin' on water!!!!!!!!!!
Take Care

Diane, Walk on water with me. I am dedicating this
poem to you.
Ladder Of Dreams
Enjoy the climb up my rickety ladder of dreams,
through a field of psychedelic ice cream sunbeams.
An unconventional love story tumbles over rocky streams,
and never finds an end at a crossroads in my daydreams.
I avoid dreamy dark emotional alleyways that draw near,
and rueful humor is not comic relief or really very clear.
Jim-jams show up out of the blue and then disappear,
as I lose touch with who and what I hold dear.
I keep searching for new sources of inspiration,
about my vision of a worlds-within-worlds evolution.
Building a strong foundation with a creative imagination,
is now helping me become a thinker with a question.
It's time to begin this fantastic journey,
like swirls of smoke coming out of a chimney.
Forget about your attorney or counting money,
and let the beautiful poetic words flow like honey.

Diane, keep your inspiration and vision.

Ron!
GREAT poetry, my man! Keep on writing! My son writes his own songs for his band, so I realize what a talent it is to be a writer, especially of poems! Reach for the stars! You deserve it! May God Bless!

Your poems may be insulting, or may be inspiring, but they're always a good read. When you read them in public out loud they have an even heavier impact. I'm just happy not to be in the audience any longer when you choose me as your subject for social commentary in a public setting.
Keep it up Ron.
