Summer Solstice....Breaking Boards with Chi!!
Kwa Asilia Avita Sanaa is an advanced system of Martial Arts.My brother Frank is Head Instructor or Mkuu Mwalimu(holding boards in video). Our Grand Master is A Falme Bwana who terms the tradition 'The Original Martial Art'.Many are surprised being the philosophy is Kemetic, the language is Swahili and the legacy is African-American.Several prestigious honors have been bestowed on the School . U.S Presidential recognition, and U.S military and Law Enforcement awards and certificates are proudly displayed.
I, TigerHawk can truly say the discipline has enhanced my life.Apart from the obvious health and fitness, the mental and spiritual technology is formidable. One reaches with-in to Re-Cognize the Inner Power or Chi.We call our Center of gravity A KatiKati Ya Uzito. The curriculum is a) Pressure Point Grappling(Mkazo Ncha Shikana), b) Combination Boxing (Ngumi), and c) Foot Fighting (Teke) .
Our youth program boasts of top academic performers in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles.Every nationality is welcomed and represented.Parents' testimonials of disciplined and respectful youngsters abound.A Falme Bwana has a stern yet engaging connection with teenagers and younger.
Last Sunday was Father's Day and the skills testing occurred.I was video-grapher.
The Board breaking is less a statement of physical strength, and more a realization of A KatiKati Ya Uzito or Chi.
Should you be interested in your youth benefitting e-mail me at tigerhawk.michael@gmail.com.
Put Martial Arts in Subject heading.
Enjoy the Video Clips below.Elie is most advanced of the younger folk.A hero to the students.
Yesterday was Summer Solstice-The Longest Day.
Summer Greetings!!
